Who are we?

Beacon is a European biomethane venture created to develop, build, and operate projects at scale

We are a partnership between Low Carbon, Agrivert, and InCommodities.

Biomethane is a renewable gas produced from organic waste through anaerobic digestion.
It can replace fossil fuels like natural gas, significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Biomethane can play a key role in decarbonising hard-to-abate sectors such as transport and shipping.

The EU targets 35 billion cubic meters (bcm) of biomethane by 2030, up from today’s 6.4 bcm of production (European Commission)

Building feedstock partnerships: Establishing agreements with local partners
Accessing the grid: Securing connection to the gas network
